I’m deeply saddened that at our age we still have friends who chose to drive when they aren’t sober. My life has been affected by the deaths of an adult, a teen, and a child all dying because they were in cars that were hit by drivers who weren’t sober. The drivers survived in all three situations and had to live with the guilt. I’m so grateful that not everyone has experienced this type of loss but it saddens me every time people gamble with their lives and the lives of others when they choose to drive when not sober. I’m not trying to attack anyone by sharing this but hope to offer a perspective that may encourage safer behavior in our community. Sending love to all.
