Hey, 37, I guess this is the last night we have together. On a personal level, you might be one of my best years yet and I am so grateful. At 37, I got married to the love of my life in May and in October we celebrated our 10 year anniversary. I became a Crisis Counselor for the Crisis Text Line, joined the International Association of Counselors and Therapists and the National Guild of Hypnotists, and started the process of taking my Hypnotherapy practice from part-time to full-time. As a client of Hypnotherapy, I experienced incredible personal growth, including letting go of an intense fear, changing my self-talk, and making healthier choices. I created amazing memories with friends and family. I started a habit of writing 3+ things I’m grateful for each day and learned how seemingly simple “homework” like this can create powerful positive change. So yes, 37, thank you. Time really does appear to go faster the older we get and I will cherish you always. But just like age 7, and 17, and 27, I carry you with me as I move forward into the year ahead. So I guess this isn’t really goodbye, just a love letter of gratitude.
