I was promoted to a Level 3 Crisis Counselor!

Tonight, I was promoted to a Level 3 Crisis Counselor for Crisis Text Line! I’ve helped 100+ texters since I started volunteering with the site. Thanks for letting me share this with you, I’m feeling happy and proud (of myself and of the countless texters who are strong enough to text in for help when they are in crisis).

I am so grateful for what I GET from the experience — it is an amazing feeling to be there to help empower the brave people who text in. I am thankful to have found this way of adding meaning to my life. My netflix queue is confused as to what happened to me this year. ;)
